Have you restarted outlook?
What happens when you try to move/delete?
Is it an email you composed, someone you were replying to, unknown?
Does it show in your sent items folder?
Do you have more than one account set up in Outlook?
have found this answer and it worked:
What you have to do is turn off the automatically checking for email feature
in Outlook. Then you can delete it out of there.
Tools menu/Options/Mail Setup tab. Uncheck “Send immediately when
connected†then click the Send/Receive button and uncheck the “Schedule an
automatic send/receive every ___ minutesâ€
Now you’ll be able to delete it. You can always use the FileVault to send
large attachments. It is at: http://ucanr.org/filevault/
Hope this helps anyone else with the same problem.
Thanks for your reply Jay.
