Outlook 2007 does not yield any results when I search email.

I must have some bazaar setting b/c I cannot get Outlook 2007 to yield any
results when i search for emails in ANY folders. Help! I really need this
tool to find sent messages.
 
What os? Did you install the windows desktop search? Has it had time to
index?
 
I have noticed with OL2007 that in Advanced Find, I have to click find 2 or 3
times before it shows results. No change in criteria or anything. The 1st few
times I click find, it says no matches. The whatever time it feels like
working, it shows several matches.
 
I'm having the same problem. I understand I need to install desktop search
(not sure why it doesn't come installed!) but don't know how to do that. Any
help appreciated.
