In outlook 2007, don't know how, but the Calendar folder default item type
became "MailItem" instead of ApointmentItem.

Outlook 2007 crashed when a new calendar item received (meeting request, for
example).

Right click on the calendar, choose Properties. What form is set as the
posting type? It should be IPM.Appointment. If not, select that from the
list and apply.

In the calendar's folder properties:

Type: Folder containing mail & post item
Form: IPM.Post

I tried to set it to IPM.Appointment, but Outlook 2003 prompted it's not
allowed to use this type of form.

In Outlook 2003, it's fine. But in Outlook 2007, it crashed when the
calendar is synchronized.

FYI. We are using Exchange 2003 and upgrading Outlook 2003 to Outlook 2007.
Now my colleage still using the old PC because new PC having problem with
Outlook 2007.
