Outlook 2007: Change default calendar view to Month

Is this possible? Cant find the setting in Tools/Options.

Outlook should remember the most recent view. It does for me. When do you
want the month view to appear? What are you doing when it does not?

Thanks for the reply Brian.

When I open outlook and then choose Calendar it defaults to Day view. If I
choose Month view it will stick with Month view for the rest of that session.
But if I close oOutlook and restart it, then click Calnedar, its first
default view is back to Day view. Not month view. Not a huge issue overall,
but just assumed it would be a setting somewhere.

Its working now, and suspect making sure Outloo.exe was closed in processes
was part of it. The strange part is that I have set it to Month View, Closed
Outlook, and turned off my computer for the night (which of course would
kill the Outlook process) and have it start up next day still in Day View.
Going to chalk that up to a Stranger than Fiction entry ;^) Regardless, its
working now - whatever I did incorrectly at first. Thanks!

After you close outlook, look in task manager - is it running in processes
tab? As long as its closed completely, it should remember the last used
view.

Killing the process doesn't necessarily cause Outlook to exit cleanly, so it
makes perfect sense.

If you are interested in the cause check your addins - its usually something
that accesses outlook data is keeping it open.
