An email message keeps hanging in Outbox. I'm assuming this is a bug but no
error report is generated. Who to contact/send feedback?

you can contact me at peppe&&&&&&[email protected]
(leave the & characters out)

What kind of email account?
BTW, no one in these newsgroups will email you to help you troubleshoot
the problem. All communication is in these newsgroups only.

If you're talking about sending and receiving, try doing a Microsoft Update.
For some reason this used to happen but it no longer happens. I'm not sure
if a Office 2007 update was downloaded and installed but it never happens
anymore.

There are no Office 2007 Beta 2 updates. Microsoft Update would also not
be the medium with which any Office beta software updates would be
distributed.

Patrick,

The email account i'm sending to is my regular business email account which
i have had for a long time and still have and actively use.

maybe i should have added that i work in IT, am an MSCE and have quite e few
years of experience. So the regular 'of the shelf' newbie problems don't
apply.

a further explanation of the problem; this particular message remains in the
'outbox' folder (not being italic as in being/trying to send) while other
emails send just fine, even new emails to my business account. This
particular mail just 'sits' there.

When i beta-test software and find problems, i would ike to contribute and
report, what else would be the use of beta testing...

The "problem" i'm having (or just plain lazy to look it up) is that there is
no 'report problem' feature in Office to report this problem to the
developers of MS directly. So i was hoping they (MS) would pick it up
here....
I will leave the email in the outbox for reporting/analasys purposes for
another week or so...

Hi Peppe,

Yes, it always helps to let us know whether we are dealing with a newbie
or an IT pro :)
What happens when you open the message in the Outbox and click send
again?
To report the issue to Microsoft, get the Send-a-smile-tool (a google
search for it will get you there).

Patrick,

Thanksalot on the heads-up towards the send-a-smile tool! I installed it and
am sending the info to Microsoft next.

I will update you on findings if you like....
