Outlook 2007 beta deletes special german characters in incoming ma

In incoming mails special german characters (Umlaute and other) are deleted.
My interNet searches for solutions of the problem were so far unsuccessful.
Under “extras†– “attitudes†there are no options for adjustment.

I would be most grateful for helpful advice.

Can you send me an email that includes characters you know will be
deleted? I want to see if this happens with my Outlook too. You can get
my email address from my website.
