the program hangs when trying to move emails from hotmail
to personal folder and I have to keep on pressing
send/receive even though the emails are showing. Is
there a setting I'm missing on this? I don't mine down
loading entire emails in order to avoid this hanging
problem

I'm not sure if it's been changed in Outlook 2003 but, in Outlook
2002, you cannot *move* messages from the Hotmail folders. Outlook
gives you a message to that effect, telling you to do the following.
You have to *copy* the messages to whatever personal folder you want,
then delete the messages from the Hotmail folder.
