Outlook 2003 & Word 2000

Howdy,

At work we have Office 2000 but we have Outlook 2003. Outlook 2003 does not
seem to have native support for the on-the-fly spell checking where it
underlines the words with the red line. If we set Outlook to use Word as the
email editor, then it does do this.

However, because we have different version between Outlook and Word, that
option is not checkable because Outlook 2k3 only looks for Word 2k3 to use as
the editor. Is there any way to get Outlook 2003 to do the on-the-fly spell
checking instead of having to have it check at the end of the message or with
a manual click of the spell check button?

Spellchecking on the fly is strictly a function of Word. Without Word, it
can't happen.

Is there any way that Outlook 2k3 and Word 2k can work together or are we
just SoL because Outlook can't do it on its own and Outlook 2k3 won't seem to
let us use Word 2k as the editor...

Any add-ins, plu-ins, tweaks, etc that can do that?

SoL, I'm afraid.
