Recently got outlook 2003(and for the first time)I had been using
eudora. But i migrated as i wanted to work with my hotmail account but
unfortunately can't seem to make it work with hotmail.
In outlook expres while using hotmail there was an option of-leave
messages on server- Unfortunately i can't find the same option in
outlook 2003. I have checked send recieve settings for hotmail account
and the option is not there.

Problem is that i want the mail from hotmail to be deleted from server
once outlook downloads them. Otherwise my account gets clogged real
fast. Also I don't want to delete the mails from outlook to do so. I
want the mail to be stored in outlook for future reference. Is this
thing possible. Plz help.

You can accomplish what you want by creating a new data file (Tools ->
Options... -> Mail Setup -> Data Files...) and moving any messages you want
to save into that data file. They will be deleted from the Hotmail server
but kept in the data file. The Hotmail data file is designed to mirror what
is on the server - it's not a "download and delete" model like OE's.
