this has annoyed my for a long time.

I have O2003, and everytime I go to write an email I have whole line of my
toolbar occupied by adobe's write pdf button.

I have tried to get rid of this on numerous occassions using the settigns
but it permanantly stays there after a restart.

any help guys?

In your "write a note" window, doesn't the commands off the View menu:
Menu: View/Toolbars ... then uncheck the Adobe toolbar(s) remove them?
Works for me. (Adobe Pro 6.0 on Outlook 2003).

If not, this worthy of you then contacting Adobe Support at
www.adobe.com and find out from them. It's their program.

Hope this is useful to you. Let us know.

nope that doesn't work. I've even tried deleting the toolbar. it just keeps
coming back!

I've searched the adobe pages with no luck either.

driving me mad!

see my next thread.

it was because of you I actually tried the site again. Instead of typing in
keywords, I followed the links.
The problem is for 2000/xp office versions etc, but I guess it also works
with 2003.

if anyone else has this problem, then follow the info in the adobe link, and
then disable the toolbar via the interface.

cheers rob... for a second push at the website!

You can also drag and drop the tool bar up next to another tool bar. This way the single button Adobe toolbar is next to a standard tool bar and doesn't take up a whole line but looks just like another button.
