There is one user in our office who has intermittent sending problems in
Outlook. He does not receive any error messages and is not aware that
messages are not sending until he's notified that the recepient did not
receive it. Then when he looks at his "outbox" the messages are sitting
there.

If he closes Outlook and reopens, the messages in the outbox will send. It
looks as if he is "online" and his send/receive settins appear to work.

Any other suggestions?

Thank you.

Do the problems crop up after outlook is open for 20 min to an hour? If yes,
does he have any desktop search tools installed?

The problems do seem to be after outlook has been opened for a time. I'm not
sure what a desktop search tool would be. I did notice he has a Yahoo
toolbar installed in IE, but do not know if that incorporates a desktop
search in it.

I'm not sure about yahoo, but the Google and msn toolbars add desktop
searches and they do cause this problem for some users.

Thank you. I will try uninstalling the toolbar and see if that works.
