Hi, wondering if anyone can tell me how to set up Outlook 2003 to use one
provider to log on to the web by modem and synch, read and send e-mail by
another.

I'm sure it can be done, but the regular instructions don't seem to get me
there.

Unless you have the right kind of juno account, you can only access it using
juno.

The Juno website seems to indicate that the free e-mail web account can be
used (at least for Outlook 200) but the setup they outline doesn't seem to
work the way they describe it.

I would really have no problem doing that but I already pay for Bluelight.
Seems pretty lame to have to switch since to my knowledge both are really
netzero accounts anyway.

http://www.juno.com/support/faq/email-changes.html - as of Dec 1, you can
only use a web browser for free juno accounts. AFAIK, juno does not support
http access, so you can't use it with Outlook. I don't know if any of the
programs listed here:
http://www.slipstick.com/addins/services/online.htm#yahoo will work with
juno or not.

I don't know where you saw that they support Outlook - they don't allow the
use of anything but juno mail and web mail.

Thanks Diane,

You can find the instructions I've seen at this link.
http://www.juno.com/support/email/email-setup-mso2k2.html

Incidently, you can also find netzero, juno and Bluelight all under the
united online Banner.

It says: Important note for Free Juno members: Your Email service will be
changing starting June 1, 2004. Click here for more information.
click here points to http://www.juno.com/support/faq/email-changes.html

that url says:
Can I still use Outlook Express or other email programs to access or "POP"
my Juno email account?

After June 1, 2004, if you are a Juno Free member and you wish to use a
dedicated email program such as Outlook Express to send and receive your
Juno email, you will need to upgrade to one of our premium services - Juno
SpeedBand, Platinum, or MegaMail.

So... free juno accounts can not use Outlook to access their mail - they
must use web mail. if you want to use outlook, you need a paid account.

Thanks,

I'm going to contact them and see if I can just change online access from
Bluelight over to Juno. We'll see if that will change the dynamic to allow
Outlook use.
