Outlook 2003 stops responding after a long period of use

Yes it does--Reduce the size of your personal file folder by backing up
files, archiving old files you want to save, deleting the unwanted ones and
compressing. You can also close and reopen Outlook occasionally to free up
memeory, especially if your computer is on 24/7.
 
It doesn't say that. It says the prblem can occur when we are using an unusually large pst. It in no place defines unusually large. What size might you think that would be? 10KB 1MB 24MB 127MB 100GB what? I believe my behavior is related to what they explain. I have a similar issue (127MB pst) but I am NOT getting excessive memory usage in Task Manager. But I am getting Outlook 2003 Not Responding although it IS Responding just fine thank you.
