Does anyone know how to get spell check to see Mr. as Mr. and not as Mr and
the end of a sentence? I've tried several things but it always sees the . as
a period and not as part of the title. It you let spell check change it to
the Mr. it has listed you end up with two periods. (Mr..)

That's quite correct if you use Mr. and not Mr - I would actually like
to SEE a sentence with Mr at the end....

Microsoft reports that this is a known issue. See their support article:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/195558

Basically, they tell you to add "Mr" and "Mrs" to the custom dictionary as a workaround. This will cause the spell checker to ignore all instances of Mr and/or Mrs, but if you forget the full stop (or American 'period') it won't catch it.
