Just got Office 2003 and noticed it's got a grouping sorting feature. Does
anyone know if there is a way I can turn the grouping off on all my folders
at once without having to go into each folder?

Thanks.

If you use View | Arrange By | Current View | Define Views to edit one of
your views, such as Messages, the changes you make should be made to that
view in all folders of that type (e.g. all Mail folders).

it off, but some folders are still showing the grouping.

Any other ideas?

In that case, you may have to create a custom view that doesn't have the
grouping turned on, and make sure the view is available to all folders of
that type. Create the view from "Define Views", and copy from an existing
view if you don't want to have to set everything manually. Outlook 2003
does seem to have changed the view behavior from previous versions.

Is there a way I can assign a new view to all the folders or do I have to go
through each one?

Thanks a bunch

Well, you'd have to go to each folder to switch to the new view, but it is
very simple...make sure the Advanced toolbar is visible, then use the Views
dropdown to select the new view.

I've seen this question asked before when I looked for it in google groups,
and the answer has always been "cannot be done."
