Outlook 2003 Send/Receive

I'm currently running Windows XP Professional. Since installing SP2 I must
now manually click the send/receive button to receive and send my emails.
All the settings under Tools,Options,Mail Setup, Send&Recevie are the same as
they were when runnning SP1. They are set to automatically send&receive
every 5 minutes.

Any thoughts as to what might be causing this problem?
 
Try setting the auto polling to every 10 minutes. Some servers need at least
that to reset. Also make sure Send Immediately when connected is NOT checked.
Emails will remain in the Outbox until the next automatic send/receive.

I made the changes as you suggested and I still am not sending/receiving
mail automatically.

Ben,
I shutdown the Norton personal firewall and it also did made a difference!

Any other thoughts or suggestions?
