I received NO answer to my question... I can't believe that I'm the only
having this problem with a dialup connection... noone prepares email
offline, connects to the internet and sends emails?

I copy all the "story" below:

I use Outlook mostly offline; my idea is that the offline prepared messages
stay in the outbox folder until I
reconnect and I click on Send/Receive. My idea seems to be a good idea for
me but not for outlook: the messages prepared offline stay in the outbox
with
a "none" sent date and they stay there even if I click on send/receive.
There's no way to send them but re-typing... that it's a little
unconfortable...

Is there a solution for this problem?
If there isn't a solution, can I export back all my messages, account and
rules to outlook express?

Thanks,
Gabriele

Give us time - this is a peer support group and if you need an instant
response you'll need to call Microsoft and pay them for support.

With regard to your question - most people I know don't work that way, but
there's certainly no reason you shouldn't be able to. I'm presuming that in
your outbox, the items are not showing up in italics (indicating they're
ready to be sent)? If you connect/work online, open up one of the messages
in your outbox, and hit send, does it go?

I'm sorry: I thought that the message passed over without being read...

Yes, the messages are NOT in italic.

It doesn't go. The only way to make it go is to clone it in another
message...

Thank you for your answer.
