I have recently been on holiday and put my Out of Office
on saying I would return etc by a certain date.

When I come back, I am unable to access the out of office
assistant it comes up with "this command is not available
look at documentation".

I have looked and have done their suggestions, I have even
taken all of Office 2003 of my system and restarted - but
I still cannot turn off my Out of Office message!. This
is causing a lot of problems as everyone thinks I am still
away on holiday! (I wish).

Can anyone come up with some ideas please

David

When you disable it by using Outlook Web Access can you then access it again
from within Outlook?

Contact your mail administrator. He/she can give you the server details for

Hello Robert

We are quite a small company and the support we have is
me!. i.e. uneducated but have learn't on the way (my
actual other job is the Financial Accountant for the
company).

I have found the potential problem/fix. I have renamed a
key called resiliency in
hkey_current_user\software\microsoft\11.00\outlook and I
now have access to turn off the Out of Office feature.

Any thoughts how this may affect my system otherwise?

TIA

David
