I can send mail successfully with Outlook 2003...when I pull mail down, it
appears that is processing mail from my ISP...but nothing is displayed in my
Inbox??? I originally upgraded from office 2000 SR1. I have since
uninstalled office 2003 Pro Enterprise, removed mail profiles...reinstalled
Office 2003...resetup mail profile from scratch...still doesn't display
downloaded mail? Delivery point is Inbox in current PST...

There are no junk email rules set up or filters turned on? (that I can
visibly see)

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Outlook did successfully download your message, so you have some sort of
view problem. Check the View -> Arrange By -> Current View and make sure
that you've selected "Messages" - maybe your view got set to something that
doesn't include any messages.

View is fine...I can move messages into Inbox and view them...something is
corrupt in Outlook functionality...either registry, profile garbage, or just
corrupt install...the windows installer has ask me a couple of times when
clicking on an outlook node or feature on menu...to insert the Office 2000
SR1 Premium CD...Huh? Must be some shit left in registry somewhere? This
has been my experience with Outlook 2000 since it has been around...it may
ask you at ANY time to insert the damn CD...nice design???

Searching registry...

I think it will be quicker just to blow down a ghosted build without Office
2000 ever being installed...and then install Office 2003...

I may try filemon, regmon, ethereal as one last debug attempt...

Jeff,

I deleted the user profile and logged back in to create new user profile...I
set up mail again and now all seems to be working fine. Evidently something
in user profile or HKCU that was corrupted...???

Thanks for info...
