I have just installed Outlook 2003.
I wanted to explore a newsgroup and followed the
Instructions in Outlook help to add News to the Go menu.
It worked fine and I was able to use the Oulook Newsrader,
once.
Next I needed news, it was gone from the Go menu!
It is also gone from the cutomize menu, so I can't add it
back!

I have been in and out of Outlook a couple of times now.
On one occation I could see News on the Go menu, but a few
seconds later, when I looked again, it was gone!

Any ideas anyone?

No offence, but the reg file I downloaded from your site looks mighty
strange.
I thought reg files should always be text files and mine isn't. Maybe it was
corrupted?
I will stick with the OE shortcut for now. Thanks for the tip about the
/news switch.

Looks stange indeed but it is valid. They don't always have to be text they
could be in HEX or binary as well.
