Hi ! Good afternoon !

I'm using Outlook 2003.

I have 4 email accounts : let's say A,B,C,D .

I made a rules that says : email from account A goes to folder A, email from
account B goes to B etc ...

After, I created subfolders into folders A, B , C , D ... these folders
correspond to some mailing lists I'm member of

For instance : folder A is account (e-mail address removed), and in this folder, I have a
subfolder called mailinglist1 , for sorting msg from mailinglist1.

So, I created another rules that says :

if message subject contains words "mailinglist1", move it to "mailinglist1"
subfolder...

It works, but it create dupes: for instance, a mesage appears both in
mailinglist1 subfolder and in the main folder A ...

Do you know how I can prevent that ? I just want it to go to mailinglist1,
not also to account A folder ...

Thanks in anticipation !

Seasonal greetings.

Set the stop processing more rules on your inbox rule. (example, move the
mailing list rule above your folder a rule. on the mailing rule set the
stop processing action so that no other rule can work on the message.)
