I have a group of users that are running windows xp sp1 all current hot fixes
They have Outlook 2003 running in cache mode. Exchange 5.5 on the backend.
Clients run Trend Office Scan for anti virus and we run scan mail on the
exchange server.
Several times every day when doing an outlook related task the workstation
locks up. The computers are less than 2 years old 1.4gh to 3 gh.
The uses do need to go through a checkpoint firewall to talk to the exchange
server. The DC is on the same vlan as the exchange server. Both client and
server are comunicating at 100mb lan speed.
Any one have any ideas? Im pulling my hair out. This is only occuring in a
small part of our enterprise.
