Hi..

I use outlook 2003 to check mail from to different pop3 accounts.

I have set up a rule that moves the mail into a specific folder
depending on which account it goes through.

Problem is, when I have these rules turned on, it doesnt process the
junk mail filters. I have a blocked senders list as long as my arm and
the mails still keep coming through even if the domain is blocked.

If I turn of the rules that move the mails to a account specific
folder, then the mail is removed.

I currently have junk mail set to high.

Any ideas?

Ok Incase you boys at MS are reading this..

another bug for you continued from the above..

As mentioned above..

I have two mail rules set up that say

If mail is recieved through specified account, Move to specified
folder.

I also have the junk mail filter on and set to high.

In this scenario.. all junk mail goes to the junk mail folder.. but
then the genious rules grab the mail from the junk folder and file
them back into the mail folders I have set up.. so basicaly.. the junk
filter is useless..

Then I had the brain wave.. if I tick the box that says.. permanently
delelte junk mail when it arrives.. the junk mail will be deleted and
the rules wont be able to sort the mail..

Wrong.. instead.. I get a rules error pop up and outlook freezes.

If anyone else has this issue or would care to confirm it by setting
up a similar scenario.. I would be greatful to hear your feed back.

Amit
