I have some questions related to purging deleted messages in IMA
folders. First, how do you turn off the stupid prompt that asks if I a
sure that I want to permanently delete these messages? I had thi
installed in Win2000 and it didn't ask me that question (I don'
remember if I changed a setting or something), but now I have installe
WinXP and I can't find a way to turn off that prompt. Second, is ther
a way to automate purging? I have rules setup for my IMAP account t
delete spam and all it does is put the line thru it. I was wondering i
there is a way to have it automatically purge after deleting (ther
isn't an option to purge in the rules). Thanks for any help

1. Where else
Tools>Options>Other>General Advanced Options> uncheck "Warn before permanently deleting items

2. I asked basically your same second question on 1/28/2004, too. When I "delete" an imap item, I'd like at least to go to the next item automatically. But as you know, OL2003 does't do anything until you go to the menu and purge, and I couldn't see how to do that automatically either, but I bet there's some VBA action a person could write.
