Has anyone else had this?

When using Outlook 2003 with a Hotmail account. If you right click on the
Junk Mail folder and select Empty "Junk Mail" Folder, the mail looks as if
it has gone, but upon clicking away from the hotmail account and then back
on the Junk Folder the mail reappears. Is this a bug?? I know in Outlook
2002 you couldn't empty your hotmail junk mail folder also by right
clicking; however in Outlook 2003 Hotmail is more closely integrated, so you
would think it should work. Also the same thing occurs for the Deleted Items
folder.

Oh right, I didn't realise that, thanks Diane.

When you empty either folder you are emptying the local cache. When you
refresh the folder you are syncing it with the server.
