I just upgraded to Office 2003 to see how it would function with our setup
and I have run into an issue.
In Outlook XP I could receive an email through my internet account (hosted
offsite) and forward it to a recipient in our exchange 5.5 server
(non-internet). Outlook would send it just fine to that recipient,
recognizing that it is not an internet address and send it to the exchange
server.
In Outlook 2003 I receive an internet email and when I try and forward it to
an exchange 5.5 account it sends it through the account which received the
original email (internet email). This causes a bouce back email saying that
the address is invalid since it is using the exchange format for an email
address.
Has anyone else experienced this? I like some of the features of Outlook
2003, but if this cannot be fixed I will be forced to switch back to Office
XP.
Thanks for any help!
