Outlook 2003 Folder Names Chopped Off

I began using Outlook 2003 with an old format of .pst
file. Upon opening Outlook, all folder names apear
complete, but once I clicked on any folder, the font
jumped in size and many, if not all folder names chopped
a few characters, sometimes parts of a character. It did
not appear to be systematically resetting a fixed limit,
so a longer folder name would have its name chopped by a
few characters as would a smaller folder name.

I applied all office updates including SP1. I also
created a new .pst folder and imported the old .pst file
into it.

Same behavior in new .pst. Any clues as to what the
problem is?

where is it chopped off and did you adjust the width of the navigation pane?

The nav pane width seems to have nothing to do with it.
Once folder names are chopped, resizing back and forth
does nothing.

They are chopped at uneven locations and a picture is
better apt to describe this problem. How do I post a word
doc with the screen shots?

I'll try to describe. Upon opening outlook it shows these
folder names all in the same font:
+ Inbox
+ Email marketing examples
+ Blue Wolf

I click on any folder and fonts change and many folder
names chop, yet some don't ...

+ Inbo
+ Email marketing examples
- Blue Wo
+ example

Email me and I can send a word doc. (e-mail address removed)

Andy:
Just thought I would add that I am having the very same problem. I thought
it was from a new monitor so I fired up the old monitor and the problem
persists. This is very new behaviour - likely in the last few days I think.
In my case I see half of the "x" in both the folders Inbox and Outbox.
I'm very curious to see if anyone can solve this one.

Right click on the desktop and choose properties. On the themes tab, save
the current theme, then select the windows xp theme. If it doesn't help, you
can go back to the theme you saved - although since it fixed it for Andy, I
expect it will fix it for you as well. :)
