When scheduling a task, will the task appear in the
user's calendar and is it possible to have the task "auto-
repeat" at a user-specified interval?

Thanx.

No, only in the task list.
Are you assigning a task or creating one for yourself?
and is it possible to have the task "auto-
repeat" at a user-specified interval?

You can set up the task recurrence when you create the task....or modify it
afterwards if you're the owner.

Either way really. I need a way to have a recurring (user-
specified interval) "event" of some sort that when
created, will show up on the user's calendar. In
addition, if the user doesn't get to it on the day in
which the "event" is showing up on their calendar,
the "event" will need to "roll-over" to the next day.

I hope that makes sense.

Thanx.

Well, I do have a job and a life, my friend!

You can create appointments or invite people to them, so they show up in
their calendar - but you can't mark an appt. as 'complete' as you can a
task. Tasks won't show up in the calendar. And there's no automatic rollover
.....I think an assigned task would be best, and they can just mark it
complete/whatnot as needed.....
