Errors
Task 'pop.charter.net-Receiving' reported error
(0x8004210A): 'The operator timed out waiting for a
response from the receiving (POP) server.
I have called my ISP and they said no problems on their
end. I AM able to receive messages from Outlook
Express... but not Outlook.
Thanks

Check that your account'(s) are set up correctly:
TOOLS.....E-MAIL ACCOUNTS.....View or Change Existing E-Mail Accounts
Sounds like your POP3 server setting is incorrect. Dependant on your ISP
(who can give you the exact setting) it would usually be MAIL."ISP NAME" or
POP3."ISP NAME"

Do you have a virusscanner that integrates with Outlook? Disable the
integration and see if it still occurs. The "on access scanner" in the
virusscanner is sufficient.

My mail accounts looks ok, "mail.charter.net". I can
receive my mail if i go to Charter's website. I can send
and receive from Outlook Express. But now I cannot send
or receive from Outlook.
Thanks...

I am using AcFee virus scan. I unchecked "scan email and
attachments", but didn't help the problem. I cannot send
or receive from Outlook. I can get mail from my ISP
website. And I can send and receive from OE.
Thanks.

Create a second mail profile with the same settings and see if that works.
If it does you can remove your first profile. To create a second profile go
to;
Control Panel-> Mail-> button Show Profiles
