I recently migrated to Outlook 2003 from Outlook Express 6. But I notice there is a annoying difference to how e-mail is delivered to my Inbox in Outlook 2003. Unlike Outlook Express, which automatically downloads my mail to my inbox without me having to manually select features from the Send & Receive menu like in Outlook 2003, All Accounts group for the e-mail to download to my inbox.

All, I want is for Outlook 2003 to automatically download all my e-mail to my inbox, without me manually having to tell it to do so. And I want it to automatically check for new mail, when it is open every 5 mins. How can I do this, it possible.

Tools->Send/Receive Settings. Set Outlook to poll at a certain interval and
to send immediately when connected. The polling will cause Outlook to
collect mail immediately when it is opened and the send immediately will
cause your mail to go out rather than sit in the outbox.
