Have checked MS's Knowledge Base, but no hits.
After installing Outlook 2003 on XP Pro (as part of an
Office 2003 Professional replacement of Office 2000), a
newly-added e-mail account cannot be connected to. So,
after clicking on 2003 "Test Accounts" get "server found
but no response from server" (that's a paraphrase).
Office 2000 still available on W98SE box, so can do a side-
by-side comparison of account settings between 2003 and
2000 (the screen layouts are different, but the same
fields are present).
All account settings are the same, and I have very
carefully reentered my password on 2003.
The account uses a different mail server than my other
accounts, but that is also the situation on 2000.
