outlook 2003 desktop shortcut

Upgraded from Office 2002 to Office 2003. However, during upgrade, lost the
standard (without small arrow) desktop shortcut icon for Microsoft Outlook
2003. Please assit in this matter.

This is expected behavior if your operating system is Windows XP. You can
use http://www.outlook-tips.net/archives/2003/20031111.htm to restore it.

Yes, because basically this is a useless icon. You can get the same
functionality from Control Panel-> Mail or by rightclicking the Outlook icon
at the top of your Start Menu (can be configured in Control Panel-> Task Bar
and Start Menu). If you create a shortcut from that icon to your Desktop
you'll get the same results.
