Hi to all:

I've just installed Outlook 2003 on 2 XP computers and
the application crashes constantly, as the person tries
to send and email or add attachments the application
crashes and the Outlook is closed. All the patches were
installed from office website. Any ideas or
recommendations on how to solve this problem??

Thanks in advance.

If you have any other programs linked into Outlook, they are probably
causing the problem. Key ones to watch for are a PDA application or
WinFax Pro.

If you have any of those, uninstall them and see if it fixes the
problem. If it does, contact the vendor of the offending program for an
update.

Thanks for taking the time to respond so quickly.
I will remove both applications from one computer that
has both win fax and PDA applications installed. The
other computer doesn't have any of those linked
applications. Do you think it might be Norton Antivirus?
That's my only guess...
I appreciate your help.

Thanks again.

Before you do any uninstalling - did you upgrade and keep the same profiles?
if yes, try a new profile.

Are you using Norton to scan email as you send and receive? if so, disable
that feature.
