outlook 2003: configurating IMAP account but won't accept my pwd .

I am trying to configure an IMAP account in my outlook 2003 in addition to my
exchange account. However, after I set it up on sync, I keep getting uid/pwd
window and system won't accept my pwd...I am 100% sure my pwd is correct and
I can access my email via webmail interface without any issue.

Any pointers on why this could be happening or how to fix this?

Are you sure that the server allows IMAP access?
 
Yes, it indeed does support IMAP. For some people who access this works
great but for some they have issue that I am having.
