Outlook 2003 and Norton Anti-Spam add-in not functional

The Norton Internet Security 2004 and 2005 anti-spam add-in is not
functional. I get an error message that requires Outlook to remove the add-in
functionality. I can recheck the Norton box in Advanced Options > COM add-ins
menu but it never does work. When first installed last summer (NIS 2004), it
worked fine, then stopped after a few months (SP2?). Recent upgrade to NIS
2005 made no difference.

Many mail scanners simply do not work well with Outlook and Norton's is
often one of them. UIninstall it and reinstall it without the mail scanning
feature. It doesn't add to your security anyway and causes many problems in
Outlook.
