How I can make Outlook 2003 to get the mail from my "Local Host"
SMTP drop folder.

I am using TMPOP3 as the POP3 server, wich seen to be working ok
but Outlook always try to connect on line, and this is not the case
since as you know "localhost" is on your pc, dont need to go on-line.

Thanks

Don't know what you mean by localhost & SMTP drop folder, but if you have
your own server/proxy installed on this computer, just change the POP server
name to whatever you want in your account properties.

Main point is that Outlook will try to connect ( on-line ) and this is an
error, since we working with the Localhost, you dont need to go online.

"Lanwench [MVP - Exchange]"

If Outlook is set to look only for localhost in the account properties, and
isn't set to dial a connection anyway, this shouldn't happen....check the
connection settings in your mail account settings as well.
