Outlook 2002

I am having trouble sending email through Outlook 2002. It tells me
connection to smtp server failed. What could be the problem?
Any help??? Thanx

Have you contacted your IT department for assistance connecting to the
Exchange Server?

Hi,

You may need to have authentication enabled, check with your mail service
provider to see.

Recently, I saw that the LAN connection I am using had suddenly changed
all server addresses for Outgoing mail in *Outlook Express*. No mail
could be sent from OE. Correcting the outgoing mail server addresses
restored SMTP services. The "Incoming" mail server was not changed, and
I could receive mail in all the addresses. I suggest you should check
this possibility.
