Outlook 2002, "View Source" feature

The "View Source" function was not working consistently on my system (XP
Pro, Outlook 2002 SP-1). Very rarely, a Notepad would pop up to display the
source text. Most of the time, nothing would happen when I select that
function.

Can someone advice what I should check to make this work? I really like to
have that to see the URL of the spamming emails so I can filter them out.

The only problem with that is that Outlook's rules will not filter HTML
messages.
