Outlook 2002 SP3 News Doesn't Launch OE6

I am running Outlook 2002 SP3 on Win2K SP4 machine. Using OE 6 also.

Problem: When I use "News" button on Toolbar, OE 6 does not launch it goes
right to C:\Program Files\Common Files\System\Mapi\1033 folder.

What is wrong here, I would like to launch OE 6 and read my newsgroup info.
I can get to the newsgroups launching OE6 separately.

Any suggestions?

Are you sure this is Outlook 2002? Doesn't sound like it to me.

What's in "Newsgroups" box in Internet Explorer Tools>Internet
Options>Programs?
