run the /resetfolders command line switch. i have a nasty feeling that the
pst file has lost some internal pointers on what should be the default
folders. (after starting outlook with this switch, look for folders that
have a 1 appended to there name. eg. Sent Items1)

OK, so I thought thatrunning scanpst.exe had fixed it, however, what seems
to be happeniong is that when I send emails that they do not move from the
outbox to the sent folder.
Any ideas?
peter
shouldn't be.
try running the inbox repair tool (scanpst.exe) against your *.pst file
if still at this point then try starting outlook 1 time with the
/resetfolders command line switch.

Same problem - grey backbround with 'Unable to display the folder.'
I disabled NAV 2004. Same problem.
Am I screwed?

Try starting Outlook 1 time with the /cleanviews command line switch.
example:
* select start | run
* type: outlook.exe /cleanviews
* ok button

When I open Outlook 2002 XP and g to my 'Inbox' folder I get the
message
'Unable to display the folder". Other folders seem to be OK.
What do I do about this? I need my mail.
