Outlook 2002 Out-of-Office rule won't reply

My out-of-office rule was working when originally set-up. Something happened
to cause an error in the rule - outlook would uncheck it whenever an e-mail
message came in.

I deleted the old rule, created a new one which runs fine, doesn't get
unchecked but won't send out any out-of-office replies.

Has anyone seen this issue or know of any fixes?

Thanks

I've got a similar problem which i've put a post about. We are running
Outlook 2000 and Exchange 5.5, i've got 1500 clients working fine and one
whose OOO looks like it's working but not firing any messages out. Apparently
this can occur when you have another rule in place that says don't proces
more rules...this is because the OOO is always the last thing to be
processed, likewise if you have an alternative recipient set in exchange, the
OOO won't fire unless you have deliver to both checked.
That said neither of these has solved our problem. I am at a loss at the
moment but any proposals or further discussion would be appreciated.

Sounds like a coruption in the mailbox. Take a closer look at it with the
mdbvu32.exe Exchange Resource Kit tool.

roady,
you're a babe. I followed the instructions in q248709 to show me how to use
it (although i wasn't getting those particular errors) and it's worked. TVM
