Outlook 2002 'nickname/shortname' spelled incorrectly

My own name as identified in my sent mails to other people has all of a
sudden been spelled incorrectly (a double letter has become a single letter).
My profile still lists the correct spelling, I've added myself into my own
outlook contacts spelled correctly, but can not seem to correct it. A
problem, as knew contacts are starting to address me incorrectly. Any
suggestions for fixing the problem?

You can control your display name in your account settings. Tools-> E-mail
Account-> Next-> button Change...
