Outlook 2002 - How do I compress mail files

I'm running XP Home, SP2 with Outlook 2002.

Mail is running really slowly. How do I remove all the old deleted mails
from the email folder? Is there a e-mail compress/defrag feature?

Best to post to an Outlook newsgroup. This one is for the XP OS. Look at
the newsgroups under microsoft.public.outlook. This might be a good choice.
