I think my Outlook is overloaded. My sent item folder is 144 MBs, my inbox
is 523 MBs, about 340MBs which I would be willing to make "non active". Can
someone lead me through the steps wherein I can take this big subfolder in
my inbox and have it ready if I need it but have it be outside of my normal
Outlook?

Also, if I get rid of that, with about 144 + 523 -340 = 330 MB, will I be OK
for awhile?

Thanks for any help!

Outlook files can be very large - for instance, mine is about 1.1 gigs right
now.

Why do you think it is overloaded? Get to the root of the problem and don't
try fixing what you think are symptoms.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

After furious head scratching, Dean asked:

I thought that, quite some time ago, on this board, I was told a lesser
number was already problematic. But, you're the expert, so I must question
my memory.

It has been crashing about once or twice a day. Can you refer me to ways to
troubleshoot what might be the cause?

Thanks
Dean
