Outlook 2002 closes every time I open Sent Items

Every time I try to open my Sent Items folder, I get this message:
"Microsoft Outlook has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are
sorry for the inconvenience."

I have done every update on the Support page, defragmented everything, and
it still happens.

Any suggestions? In laymen's terms, please. :)
 
What is logged to the Event View?
You can find this in Control Panel-> Performance and Maintenance->
Administrative Tools

Look for Outlook errors in the Application log. Open the item, press the
copy button and paste it as a reply to this message.
