Outlook 2002 Archiving Issue

I have about 6 clients running off a Win2000 SBS server.
The issue is that 2 of the users are unable to use the
archive function of outlook. They are both running winXP
and outlook 2002 with all the latest Patches from the
microsoft update site.

When you force an archive it looks like it is running
but when they look in their mailbox everything is still
there. If however you specify tomorrows date in
the "archive items older than" field it will then archive
everything. But until you select tomorrows date then
nothing happens.

I removed one of the users mailbox from exchange and
recreated it, then imported the email back in but still
the same problem arose. The other thing to note is that
both the users did at one stage have a mailbox size of
about 1.6GB (they are now down to 800mb). Not sure if this
helped with causing the issue.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Regards,
Luke

Check the Modified date on the items that aren't being archived as you think
they should. That's the date Outlook uses to determine whether or not an
item is ready to be AutoArchived, and a simple action such as moving the
item to another folder can change the Modified date. More information and a
list of actions that change the Modified date can be found here:
