After installing Norton Internet Security, I have been
receiving runtime errors when opening Outlook for the
first time. After it closes, I can open it without any
problem.
Symantec indicates it's a MS problem... and I have yet to
find a solution in the knowledge base or to posts here
with the same problem.
Running XP professional and Outlook 2002.
Already updated Office and XP from MS site.

Any Ideas?

Thanks
Bridgid

Well that's an issue isn't it? Quite defeats the purpose
of having a virus protection program.
Any other ideas?
How about Symantec and Microsoft working together....
after all Bill's conjoined everyone else...

How about a real response...

It's NIS's problem. Try disabling the mail scanning.
