I am using outlook 2000 in my office computer and my home computer and they
are different - in my home computer I am running "Outlook 2000 (9.0.0.271)
Internet Mail Only" and I can't set up a second profile or add a "FROM"
button on a message.

At the office you probably have Outlook 2000 in Corporate and Workgroup
mode. You have a couple of options. One is to change your home OL to
Corporate and Workgroup mode. See Tools>Options>Mail Setup. You'll need
your Outlook or Office install disk. The other option is to add another
account to your existing profile (OL 2000 IMO allows only one profile).
Then, if I remember correctly (it;s been a while), there'll be a down-arrow
on the Send button that can be used to select which account should be used
to send the message.

we're running OL2000 here at home in IMO mode with 9 accounts and 3
PST files but one profile. my wife has 2 e-mail accounts filtering
into one PST file; i have 7 e-mail accounts using a second pst file
and the archive uses a 3rd PST file. brian is correct...when multiple
accounts are configured one of those accounts will be the default send
account. if you want to send from a different account you use the
down arrow next to the send button and select the appropriate account.
