Within the past three days, 1 of 300 items was mistakenly deleted from my
Inbox. If deleted items can be sorted or arranged in deleted date order, I
can quickly find and retrieve the 1 item, which was deleted today.
Otherwise, I have to look through the 300 items, one by one.

Do you keep your lunch in your trash too? There is a reason the deleted
items folder icon is a trash can.

the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

After furious head scratching, Nahi Raymond asked:

I understand your response but can you answer the question? One item out of
300 was deleted by mistake. For a quicker find, can deleted items be sorted
by deleted or modified date? Then I can drag it back to the Inbox.

What I would do is to add the Modified date to the header in the Deleted
Items and then sort on that field. SInce a deleting is a modification, the
modified date should approximate what you seek.
