I HAVE BEEN USING OUTLOOK SUCCESSFULLY BUT NOW IT WONT
OPEN, IT JUST FREEZERS. I HAVE TRIED REPAIR IN ADD
PROGRAMS.

Search for and rename the file OUTCMD.DAT. You may have to uncheck the
options that hide hidden files in Windows Explorer through Tools | Folder
Options | View

WIth that file renamed, restart Outlook... does it open?

PATRICK, EVEN WHEN I UNCHECK THE HIDE FILE, NONE SHOWS.
HELP

Let's try opening Outlook in Safe mode.

Select Start | Run

Enter Outlook.exe /Safe
(note the space between ".exe" and "/Safe)

Select OK

Does Outlook open?

If so, we may be dealing with a bad add-in or view.

Well, we might be dealing with a corrupt PST file then.

Look for SCANPST.EXE. I don't know what operating system you're using, but
this program is probably in C:\Program Files\Windows NT\Windows Messaging

Open ScanPST and browse to your PST file. Let it scan and if it picks up any
errors, let it repair them. Keep running SCANPST until it goes throught the
entire process without finding errors.
